This week’s Ranking is out.
A few things to note:
- The Lakers are still #1 after going 6-0 in their last six games.
- The Celtics climb to the second spot with a seven game winning streak.
- Phoenix was 2-2 this week but the losses were pretty bad (against the Knicks and the Cavs) and that weighs heavily in this Ranking. They go down from the second to the sixth spot.
- The Spurs go down one spot, from 10th to 11th. They are 1-2 for the week but they played Boston and Denver and lost both in close games. I still expect San Antonio to improve their record as soon as their schedule gets easier.
- Orlando and Denver have been pretty steady, keeping their #3 and #4 spots, respectively.
