In this week’s Power Ranking:
- The Cavs take the #1 spot for the first time this season, thanks to a 4-0 week in which they beat the Rockets, the Nets and the Hawks (twice)
- The Celtics had a bad week, going 1-3 and losing in tough games to the Clippers and Warriors
- Despite having the best record, the Lakers fall to number 3. They had a 2-1 week but needed Kobe’s heroics to beat the Warriors and the Bucks
- As I expected, the Spurs have improved dramatically in the past few weeks. The take #6, up from #9, this week
- The Hawks get a lower wRatio and lose a spot in the Ranking, from #3 to #4. They’ve lost all of their three games this week.
